Who We Are

Making Trade,
Tradeable.

Africa represents one of the most significant untapped contributors to global trade and lags behind on infrastructure development.

Our Story

Despite its potential, trade, capital and infrastructure development across and within the continent continues to face challenges driven by fragmented supply chains, limited access to structured finance, and a lack of alignment between key stakeholders.

Tradeable House Africa was established in 2019 to address this reality.

African trade participants and project sponsors are often at a disadvantage in both local and international markets. This is not due to a lack of opportunity, but rather the complexity involved in executing cross border trade, transaction structuring and capital & resource mobilization. Many transactions struggle to materialize because the key components of trade, supply chains, finance, logistics, project capital and counterparties are often not effectively aligned.

Tradeable was built to bring structure to this process.

From its early foundation, the company focused on coordinating the different elements of trade into a single, reliable framework. Through sourcing, aggregation, and facilitation, Tradeable enabled clients to move from opportunity to execution with greater clarity and confidence.

As the scale and complexity of transactions grew, the company expanded its role beyond traditional trade facilitation.

Tradeable Agribusiness

To further strengthen this vision, Tradeable established Tradeable Agribusiness in 2022, a 100% agri-value-chain business. It markets products under its own THAMANI brand, starting with producing rice and spaghetti and distributing dairy products. This gives the group greater control over supply consistency, product quality, availability, and market responsiveness, adding direct agri-business capability to its broader trade execution platform.

Today, Tradeable is a leading catalyst in unlocking Africa’s contribution and participation in Global markets through trade.

We operate at the intersection of trade, finance, and execution within the key sectors powering Africa’s economic future.

By combining global trade networks with structured trade finance the company enables clients to access supply chains, capital, and deliver complex projects across Africa.

Reach

Tradeable operates across major African trade corridors and continues to expand its footprint — spanning West Africa, East Africa, Central Africa, and the Horn of Africa, including Nigeria, Ghana, Gambia, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, the DRC, Ethiopia, and Djibouti. At the same time, it sources globally from Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas. This combination of regional market understanding and global supplier access connects African demand with international capacity while maintaining execution discipline on the ground.

Sectors

Its work spans key sectors such as infrastructure, healthcare, energy, and telecommunications, supporting projects that contribute to economic development, industrial growth, job creation and improved access to essential services across the region.

By integrating trade execution with financial structuring, Tradeable helps transform complex opportunities into practical, executable transactions. This allows clients to operate more effectively in environments where complexity would otherwise slow progress.

At its core, the company’s approach is simple: bringing clarity, structure, and reliability to trade.
